Assistant professor since 2012 at the Rey Juan Carlos University. She has participated in the activity of High Heat Flux Materials within the former European Fusion Development Agreement (EFDA) and the present EUROfusion Consortium. The task consists of the development of low activity fillers for W-W and W-Eurofer joints for the divertor of the future DEMO fusion reactor. She has managed the last 3 annual projects. She has also a large experience in the development of composite materials. During the last years, she specializes in multifunctional composite materials doped with carbon nanoparticles, with applications in the field of Structural Health Monitoring (SHM). The research results have been published in 23 articles and have been presented in more than 40 national and international conferences.
