Clara Escudero received her undergraduate degree from the School of Biological Sciences of the Universidad Complutense de Madrid in 2012. She joined the Microbiology department of this University as a fellow collaborator. She received her Master´s degree in Molecular biology, Biomedicine and Biochemistry from the School of Chemistry of the Universidad Complutense de Madrid in 2013. In 2015 she joined the FIOBI group at the University Hospital La Paz-IdiPAZ, as a predoctoral fellow. Her thesis project aims to test the hypothesis that the natural process of bone regeneration can be enhanced by means of the spatiotemporal control of the bioactivity of growth factors expressed from tissue intermediates after induction with near-infrared light.
