Associate Professor

Ángel Muñoz Castellanos

Dr. Angel Muñoz Castellanos received his degree in Physics (Licenciado en CC. Físicas) in 1986 at the Universidad Complutense de Madrid. He received his Master degree in 1989 (Diplôme d’Etudes Approfondies) at the Université Joseph Fourier, Grenoble-France. He received his Ph. D. in Physics at the the Université Joseph Fourier in 1993. In October 1994, he started to work at the Universidad Carlos III as Postdoctoral lecturer and in November 2009 he got a position at the Universidad Carlos III as associate professor. In the last years, he has focused his research activities in the fabrication and characterization of new materials for fusion, such as ODS tungsten-based compounds and ODS copper-based compounds. These materials have been produced by using different powder metallurgy routes.
